DS9 Ultimate Sports Show

Brent's band "Visions" played at Deep Space 9 tonight!

They put on an awesome show! Afterwards we hit up Jack in the Box for our nightcap (like always). But this time we decided to dress in our Daiso wrestler masks :)

Oakdale

I went out to visit Julianna in Oakdale this weekend

We took Gianni out for a bike ride

I LOVE her newly decorated room, it brings back all the memories

from when she still lived in Pleasanton :)

Crafts & Bluebirds

I made this baby headband, which was surprisingly simple. Just some fabric and elastic :)

I was in a crafty mood so I made these pillows for my couch

I hand sewed these and I still cant believe the lines turned out straight!

Later that day I saw this bluebird sitting on the drinking fountain and I

caught it with my camera :) I dont know why but I love love love this picture.

Lukey's 5th Birthday

Luke celebrated his 5th birthday this weekend, and had an awesome Power rangers themed party. I baked him a power rangers cake (Luke asked me why the power rangers' arm was so fat). Two layers of chocolate with white frosting. I tried a new recipe for the chocolate cake and it tasted so rich, like a brownie..yumm..

There was a HUGE bounce house that was delivered at 9 AM so me and the boys got to play in it for a few hours before the big party started.

There was a crowd of little girls following me around the whole time, telling me stories and asking me questions. They were so cute, and I think they were excited to have a "big girl" around instead of all the boys! There were a lot of disputes over "girl time" and "boy time" in the bounce house..but eventually it was MOM TIME! Haha, it was the best jumping in the bounce house with them, although I couldn't tell if they were screaming out of fun or fear.

Luke was really happy the whole day, this was definitely a birthday party he wont soon forget :)

eM's Christmas Breakfast

On Saturday, my friend em decided to

recreate her Grandpa's Christmas morning breakfast

There was so much food and everything was sooo delicious

(and hot at the same time, a feat I'm still trying to conquer).

Mmm.. Christmas in April at its best.

Baby crazy!

I've been making these little baby onesies for Cristina's little bean.

I just wanted to share a few of them. My baking has been on a bit of a standstill and has been replaced with a new obsession of baby clothes-making!

For Christmas I made Cristina some pillows with this rose pattern on it,

which ended up being my inspiration for this one

and one with a little chiffon tutu!

I love this one, I ended up added two more layers of tutu to make it poof out a bit more,

but I'm thinking I'm going to make another with just the single layer.

Two Dollar Tuesdays

Granada Bowl does bowling for only $2 every Tuesday!

We went with a big group of people,

and stayed late enough for the fancy midnight lights to come on :)

Brent killed us all, his score was more than 3 times my score!

He was bowling strikes practically every other turn!

I don't think I have the best form, but the bowling shoes were cute ;)

Just Another Saturday Night..

On the weekends, Brent and I go out to his mom's house in Fremont

This weekend had enough funny events eligible for a post...

It started off as a normal night, video games and funny faces..

Luke found an empty box and put in on his head like a mask

Jake's two friends decided to use the box for their target practice

Scott (their dad) comes home to see his son being shot at while wearing a beer box on his head

I'm not sure if we'll be babysitting again anytime soon.. :P

Later that night, Brent and Jake played a game of "Sting Pong"

You play ping pong to three points, and the loser has to put his shirt over his face and be hit with the ping pong ball by the winner. Jake was so proud of his welts :)

I hope I have all boys when I get older.

My Favorite Holiday
